Former First Lady Melania Trump paid a Christmas surprise visit to the US Coast Guard to honor America’s service members, according to RSB Network.
Melania Trump tweeted a photo and described her meeting with the Coast Guard in a tweet:
Wonderful Christmas visit with members of the U.S. Coast Guard. Thank you for everything you do to protect our country! Remember to say a special prayer for our great service members who are away from loved ones during the holidays.

“President Trump and Melania Trump have visited the different branches of the U.S. military on numerous occasions in an effort to honor those who devote their lives to the defense of this nation,” RSB Network reported. “In 2018, they went to Al Asad Air Base in Iraq for a special Christmas visit with America’s troops. After their visit with America’s service members, Trump stated, ‘One thing is certain, we have incredible people representing our Country.’”
Over the past few years, Trump has repeatedly stated his strong support for the United States military. He campaigned on the promise of a robust military and fought to thank America’s service members throughout his presidency.
If he ran again in 2024—an unconfirmed but possible scenario—his military views are likely to remain virtually unchanged.
