Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Pursues Therapy, Rehab Programs Ahead of October Sentencing Date

Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly taking steps to focus on personal rehabilitation while facing the consequences of his recent legal troubles. According to TMZ, the 55-year-old hip-hop mogul has enrolled in several self-help and therapy programs while being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he is currently awaiting sentencing following a high-profile trial.

Among the programs Combs has joined is the STOP Program, which is designed to address and prevent sexual assault, domestic abuse, and dating violence. The initiative aims to educate participants about consent, emotional regulation, and the impact of abusive behavior.

Sources close to Combs told the outlet that the former Bad Boy Records founder is also continuing with substance abuse therapy, a program he had reportedly begun before his arrest. These efforts, insiders claim, are part of an ongoing attempt to “better himself” and pursue a path toward personal redemption while incarcerated.

The developments come just weeks after Combs was acquitted of the most severe charges in his widely watched sex trafficking trial. However, he was convicted on two counts of prostitution, each carrying a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

The courtroom drama, which captured national attention, included harrowing testimonies from multiple witnesses. Among them was Combs’ former partner, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who provided graphic accounts of the alleged abuse she suffered during their decade-long relationship. Ventura claimed that Combs had raped and physically assaulted her, and her testimony played a central role in the prosecution’s case.

Though Combs and his legal team have not publicly commented on his current rehabilitation efforts, sources say the music producer is intent on showing the court a willingness to take responsibility for his past actions. Diddy’s sentencing is scheduled for October 3, a date that will determine the next chapter for the once-celebrated entrepreneur and cultural icon.

His case continues to generate discussion both in the legal world and among the public, especially regarding how celebrities are held accountable in cases involving abuse and misconduct. Whether these rehabilitative efforts will impact his sentencing remains to be seen, but for now, Sean Combs appears focused on rebuilding from within, even as the legal consequences of his past continue to unfold.
