Sara Foster is setting the record straight about what it was really like attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s high-profile wedding in Venice, Italy, and it’s not what most people expected. The June 27 celebration, reportedly costing $11 million and drawing a star-studded guest list, made headlines around the world.
But according to Foster, the glamorous affair was far more low-key and personal than the headlines suggested. Speaking on the July 17 episode of The World’s First Podcast, which she co-hosts with her sister Erin Foster, the topic came up when Erin jokingly accused her of keeping tight-lipped about the event.
“You went, you were a guest, I FaceTimed you several times for gossip and updates didn’t take any of my calls. Gave no information,” Erin teased, before asking bluntly, “Did you sign an NDA?” Sara immediately shot down the idea. “No, absolutely not,” she said. “No one signed NDAs. No NDA.”
While the public may have imagined a lavish, over-the-top spectacle, Sara emphasized that the wedding had a much more personal feel. “It’s so interesting how the optics were this over-the-top, you know … it’s just not what it was. It actually felt very intimate, you know?” she explained.

Despite the presence of A-list celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessica Alba, Usher, and Brooks Nader, Sara said the vibe of the wedding was more about closeness than excess.
The Foster sisters didn’t reveal much more about the ceremony, but Sara’s comments offered a rare glimpse into one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the year. In a world where lavish spending often dominates headlines, her comments provide a refreshing perspective on what seemed, at least to guests, like a heartfelt and intimate occasion.
And while she may not have spilled all the details her sister hoped for, one thing’s clear — you didn’t need an NDA to keep this wedding tasteful, private, and, surprisingly, down to earth.
