Khloé Kardashian is being candid about why she is not ready to start dating again following her highly publicised breakup with Tristan Thompson. On the latest episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, the 41-year-old reality star admitted that the idea of re-entering the dating world feels overwhelming.
“It’s a tough world out there for me,” Khloé said. “Now I feel like I’ve gone so long. It’s so scary to get back in there.” Khloé explained that after everything she has been through, emotional safety has become a priority. “Like now I’m like, I feel so safe where I am. And I hated how I felt before.
That I’m like, I don’t want to go back there,” she shared. At the same time, she acknowledged the internal conflict she feels about staying guarded. “But I can’t live like this forever. Like I’m afraid that I’m so afraid. Does that make sense?”

The Good American founder’s honesty reflects how deeply her past relationships have impacted her outlook on love. Khloé and Thompson’s on-again, off-again relationship played out publicly over several years, marked by multiple cheating scandals and ultimately ending for good after the birth of their second child via surrogate.
While dating may be on pause, Khloé appears content with where she is right now. A recent insider told E! News that the reality star is intentionally choosing to remain single so she can focus on herself and her family.
“Khloé is enjoying being single with her sole focus on being a mom and her work and is open to finding love again if the right person comes into her life, but is really happy right now,” the source said. Another insider added, “She is not looking and in no rush.”

Khloé shares two children with Thompson: daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3. Motherhood has clearly become the center of her world, and she has often spoken about wanting stability and peace for her kids above all else. For now, that sense of calm seems to outweigh any pressure to move on romantically.
Although she admits she cannot avoid love forever, Khloé made it clear that healing takes time. Her fear is not about being alone, but about returning to a place emotionally that once caused her pain. By staying single, she says she feels grounded and protected, even if she knows she will eventually need to face her fears.
For the moment, Khloé appears comfortable embracing this chapter of her life, focusing on her children, her business ventures, and rebuilding trust in herself before opening her heart again.
