Kelley Wolf is moving forward with hope and introspection following her divorce from longtime husband, actor Scott Wolf. On July 4, the 48-year-old television personality took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message reflecting on healing and acceptance.
Posting a serene video of a quiet porch scene accompanied by John Mellencamp’s “Small Town,” Kelley wrote, “Love makes the world go round… and in the times you feel heavy… KNOW… you are special. Peace is a state of mind. And your mind is all that can tell you otherwise.”
She continued, “I love you all and I am HAPPY. And that’s OK… It’s OK to hold many things at once. We are dynamic… and I am ready to begin again…”
Kelley and Scott, 57, were married for more than 20 years before news of their separation surfaced in June, when Scott filed for divorce. The couple shares three children: Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11.
In a public statement at the time, Scott described the decision as deeply painful. “The most difficult choice of his life, he said, while reaffirming that their children remain “the loves of [their] lives and [their] every priority.” The Party of Five actor also requested privacy as the family navigates the transition.
Kelley echoed his sentiments in her own statement, calling the separation a “long, quiet journey” guided by hope, patience, and a deep concern for their children’s well-being. “While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion,” she added.
However, the weeks following the announcement brought further complications. Shortly after the divorce became public, Kelley was detained by authorities in Utah after she made what officials described as “concerning” comments during an Instagram Live session referencing Scott. She was hospitalized but later claimed the stay was involuntary.
By the end of June, a judge granted Scott a temporary restraining order against Kelley and awarded him temporary sole legal and physical custody of their three children. He was also given exclusive possession of the family’s Park City, Utah, home.
Despite the emotional and legal turbulence, Kelley’s recent public messages signal a desire to heal and start fresh. Her words, filled with grace and resilience, offer a glimpse of someone determined to find peace and purpose in the next chapter of her life.
