Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is sharing fond memories of his wedding to actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, calling it the highlight of his life.
The 29-year-old NFL star appeared in the season premiere of HBO’s Hard Knocks, where he reflected on the couple’s May nuptials. “Yeah, that was the best night of my life, honestly,” Allen said with a smile. “And my wife’s life, I think. That’s what she says.”
Allen also gave viewers a glimpse into his summer activities. “I’ve golfed a lot. That was pretty cool,” he said. “I golfed at Augusta after the Masters.”
While his offseason included time on the golf course, the quarterback made clear that one moment stood above the rest. “I will mention that I did get married, and that was the most important part. Yeah, it’s been a good offseason,” he added.
Allen, 29, and Steinfeld, 28, exchanged vows on May 31 in an elegant outdoor ceremony in California. The guest list included family, friends, Allen’s Bills teammates, and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David.

According to Steinfeld’s Beau Society newsletter, the celebrations began with a family-only dinner on May 29, followed by a welcome party the next evening, complete with signature cocktails.
On the morning of their wedding, the couple broke tradition by sharing breakfast together. The ceremony took place at the picturesque San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara and featured a strict phone-free policy to keep the moment intimate.
Steinfeld walked down the aisle in a custom Tamara Ralph gown paired with sheer opera gloves and a lace veil. She completed the look with Mikimoto pearl and diamond earrings. Guests enjoyed a reception that included a lemon olive oil cake and a lively underground after-party.

The wedding capped off a whirlwind romance that began when the pair was first spotted together in 2023. Allen proposed in November 2024, less than a year before their big day.
The quarterback’s candid remarks on Hard Knocks offered fans a rare look at his personal life, balancing his high-profile NFL career with milestones off the field. For Allen, the wedding wasn’t just a season highlight — it was, in his own words, the “best night” of his life.
