Amy Schumer is stepping into a new chapter, and she’s making the shift loud and clear. The comedian cleared every photo from her Instagram on Tuesday, November 11, and didn’t wait long before returning with a striking update for her 12.6 million followers.
Her reintroduction came in the form of a bold red optical illusion minidress and a full glam moment before heading out for a celebratory night. The Trainwreck star joked that she was “back on [her] staircase bullshit again” as she posed in a Valentine’s Day–inspired micro minidress in a vivid crimson shade.
In the photo dump, Schumer lounged barefoot in a white sherpa chair while holding a pair of black Chanel slingback heels. Other photos showed her wearing the shoes and leaning against a brown fabric staircase inside her home. Schumer has been open about her health struggles and recent weight-loss journey, and she chose a showstopping piece for her night out.

The red strapless minidress she wore was Valentino’s Red Silk-Wool Heart Mini Dress, complete with a sculpted sweetheart bodice designed to resemble a heart in a deeper red tone. Down the center ran a line of black velvet buttons resting on the structural, coiled silk detail.
She styled her hair in a sleek side part and wore smoky eyeshadow, nude lipstick, and a warm faux tan. Schumer gave credit to her glam team while sharing how refreshed she felt. “I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud? I’m feeling good and happy,” she wrote. She added with a laugh, “Deleted my old pics for no reason!”
After speculation started circulating about why she wiped her profile, Schumer addressed the chatter directly. “Hey media outlets, I didn’t delete my old photos because they were pre-me losing weight. That’s a narrative you have created. I’m proud of how I’ve looked always,” she wrote.
She explained that her focus has been on becoming pain-free, citing improvements in her endometriosis, back pain, and Cushing syndrome. “I am grateful to be strong and healthy, especially for my son,” she added. Her refreshed feed comes only days after she spoke candidly in a now-deleted post about her weight loss and overall progress.

“I’m feeling strong and like myself,” she wrote, according to People. Posing in a black-and-white Valentino dress, she shared that her changes have been about health as much as appearance. “I’m enjoying how I look, but man, it is all about how you feel,” she said.
Schumer thanked her trainer for helping her regain strength after back surgery and credited her doctor “for lifting all the endometriosis out of my body.” Her revamped Instagram marks a reset, but her message remains clear. For Schumer, the transformation is about strength, confidence, and feeling good from the inside out.
