Cassie Ventura’s Lawyers Urge Judge to Deny Bail for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Cassie Ventura’s legal team is calling on the court to deny bail for music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs following his recent conviction on charges related to prostitution. In a formal request, her attorneys urged the presiding judge to block any release on bond, citing concerns for the safety of the victims involved.

The appeal comes after Combs was found guilty of transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution, a conviction that could lead to significant prison time. Ventura, an actress and singer who has previously been in a long-term relationship with Combs, was among those who testified during the high-profile trial.

“Ms. Ventura believes that Mr. Combs is likely to pose a danger to the victims who testified in this case, including herself, as well as to the community,” her attorney, Douglas Wigdor, wrote in a letter obtained by E! Online. Wigdor, who has been outspoken in his support of Ventura throughout the proceedings, praised her for her courage in speaking out against the powerful music executive.

“By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice,” Wigdor said. “We must repeat–with no reservation–that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial.”

Combs’ legal team has not yet responded to the bail request, but the issue is likely to be addressed at an upcoming hearing. If bail is denied, he will remain in custody while awaiting sentencing, which could carry a prison term of several years.

The push to keep Combs behind bars until sentencing reflects the gravity of the charges and the emotional toll the case has taken on its victims, particularly Ventura. Her testimony was considered pivotal in securing the conviction and marked a rare moment of accountability within the entertainment industry.

The case has sparked widespread public attention and renewed calls for greater protections for victims of abuse within the music world. Ventura’s role in the trial has drawn significant praise from advocacy groups and legal experts, who have hailed her as a voice for those often silenced by power and influence.

As the legal process moves forward, all eyes remain on the court’s decision regarding Combs’ bail—and whether Ventura’s plea will weigh heavily in that outcome.
