Concerns are mounting around Caitlyn Jenner as family members and fans alike worry about her well-being following the death of her former partner, Sophie Hutchins. According to Radar Online, those close to Caitlyn are struggling to lift her spirits in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Hutchins, who was previously romantically linked to Caitlyn and remained a central figure in her life, died in a fatal accident in July 2025. Sources say the loss has deeply affected Caitlyn, particularly as the holiday season approaches.
The concern intensified after Caitlyn’s recent appearance on The Kardashians. Viewers took to social media to comment on her appearance, with some speculating that she looked unwell. One fan wrote, “Cait does not look like Cait, I am worried.” Another added, “I guess she is grieving so much over Sophia that she was not able to get a blowout on her hair.”

Caitlyn shares daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner with her ex-wife, Kris Jenner, and has maintained a complicated but ongoing relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family over the years. According to the insider, Kendall and Kylie played a key role in encouraging Kris to invite Caitlyn to appear on the family’s Hulu series.
“They went on to add, ‘Both of them played a key part in getting their mom, Kris, to invite Cait onto The Kardashians. It meant a lot to Cait, but she needs a lot more love and support, especially with the holidays coming up,’” the source said.
Sophie Hutchins’ death appears to have left a particularly large void in Caitlyn’s life. Hutchins was widely seen as both a confidante and manager, and insiders say her presence shaped much of Caitlyn’s daily routine.
“Sophia was so central to her entire world. Ever since the tragedy, Cait’s been very introverted,” the source concluded. While Caitlyn has not publicly addressed the health speculation or her grieving process in detail, those close to her hope that increased family support will help her through what has been described as an especially painful period.
