The relationship between Kate Middleton and Prince William has been the subject of much speculation due to Kate’s noticeable absence from public appearances over the past couple of months. Amidst these rumors, Omid Scobie, a journalist closely associated with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has come forward to assert that the marriage between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge remains strong.
Scobie, known for his insights into the lives of the younger royals, emphasized the stability and strength of William and Kate’s nearly 15-year union. In support of Scobie’s viewpoint, royal biographer Robert Jobson also shared his positive assessment of the couple’s relationship during an episode of Hello! Magazine’s A Right Royal Podcast. Jobson, an established authority on royal affairs, affirmed the solidity of the bond between the Prince and Princess of Wales.
In his book Endgame, released in November, he wrote: “Sources said William’s marriage to Kate remains solid. It’s a partnership, an alliance, and a lifetime commitment”, adding that the couple “work as a team” and William is “incredibly proud” of his wife.
Noting that the “friendship” between Kate and William had helped them to go the distance, he added: “You only have to look at the way they look at each other to realize they are very much in love. And I think that she’s a real asset to not only William but the Royal Family as a whole.”
William and Kate’s romance began during their college years, eventually leading to a grand wedding ceremony in 2011 at Westminster Abbey, an event watched by millions around the globe.
