Twice postponed and swathed in controversy, Donald Trump Jr.’s Australian speaking tour is stirring the pot yet again! The eldest Trump offspring, originally set to take the stage in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney this week, has now pushed it back to December. But here’s where it gets juicy: The reason? Merely “scheduling conflicts,” he says.

Turning Point Australia, the inviting party, points fingers at a possible attempt by Australia to sideline the Trumps, even hinting that “cancel culture” may be the culprit. Yet, in an intriguing turn of events, Australian immigration minister Andrew Giles drops a zinger, implying Trump Jr.’s woes might be more about “lackluster ticket sales” than visa woes.

Quoting Giles’ fiery post on X (the evolved Twitter), “Donald Trump Jr. is a bit of a sore loser… Now he’s trying to blame the Australian government for his poor ticket sales and canceled tour… He didn’t get canceled. He’s just a big baby, who isn’t very popular.”

But with a background of two conservative books, an executive VP title at the Trump Organization, and a barrage of critique against the Biden administration, will Trump Jr.’s rescheduled December tour face the same hurdles?

Over 20,000 Aussie petition signers who’ve urged the government to shut the door on him due to his controversial stances may have their say.

Will December see the Trump Jr. Aussie showdown, or will it be another anticlimactic chapter? Stay tuned!
