Georgia Governor Drops BOMBSHELL Decision on Trump Investigation – You Won’t Believe What Happens Next

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has made a shocking decision to not support a special legislative session to impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who’s currently probing ex-President Donald Trump’s alleged involvement in the 2020 election interference in the state.

The Guardian recently reported that Kemp, who has clearly debunked Trump’s claims of election tampering, termed this special session as potentially “against the constitution and unrealistic.” Kemp’s commitment seems unshaken as he vows to abide by the Constitution, no matter where the political chips may fall.

Legislators pushing for this session argue that Willis harbors a bias against Trump and is wielding her power inappropriately, also accusing her of overstepping by investigating a seated president. However, Willis strongly refutes these claims, emphasizing the neutrality and professionalism of her investigation.

Kemp’s move deals a blow to those lawmakers wanting Willis off the case, but they might yet attempt to oust her using standard legislative means.

Willis, expressing gratitude for Kemp’s principled stance, pledges to persist in her role without bias. With the ongoing investigation into Trump and associates, the outcome remains unpredictable, though its implications on Georgia’s political scene are already evident.

Governor Kemp highlighted Georgia’s law, stating, “We possess clear regulations for actions against local prosecutors if they’re believed to be flouting their oath via unethical conduct. My tenure as governor will always honor the law and our constitution, irrespective of its political implications.”
