After releasing the million dollar, all-diamond and gold pen in 2011, Anita Mai Tan has introduced a new Dragon and Spider phone cases on which she employed 16 months of work. The delicately crafted pieces are a fusion of design elements such as diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emerald and tsavorite. The artistically crafted Dragon Phone case marks the year of Dragon and is made of 18k gold set with an array of 2200 colorless and color diamonds bears a total weight of 32cts. She also incorporated numerology, which is very indicative of personality traits.
The Spider Phone case is also set in 18k gold set with 2800 colorless, black diamonds with a total weight of 38cts. The two pieces are priced at $88,000 and will be auctioned towards the end of 2012. The proceeds from the sale will benefit the NFTE organization as a mission to assist the youth in low income bracket.
