According to Heat Magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are considering traveling to Britain with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, amid ongoing peace talks between Harry and his father, King Charles. The potential visit would mark a significant step in efforts to mend strained family ties that have persisted since the couple stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
However, sources cited in the report suggest Meghan’s expectations for the trip have created tension behind the scenes. “Meghan is demanding to stay at Apartment 1A and wants a full team sent in ahead of their arrival,” a source claimed.
Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace is a residence historically associated with senior members of the royal family. The reported request, along with additional logistical requirements, has reportedly raised eyebrows within royal circles.
The source added that Meghan is seeking extensive arrangements, from private chefs to trained nannies for the children. The former Suits actress is said to be “ruffling feathers with her Hollywood A-list rider demands.”
While Meghan’s alleged requests have drawn attention, Harry is said to be proceeding with caution. The Duke of Sussex recently met King Charles at Clarence House, a meeting widely interpreted as a positive sign that communication lines remain open.
