Fresh reports suggest that Kanye West exerts far more control over his wife Bianca Censori’s professional life than previously believed, with one recent incident reportedly leaving her deeply frustrated and emotional.
According to new claims, West played an outsized role in Censori’s latest creative project, despite assurances that she would be in charge. The Melbourne-born architect and designer recently unveiled BIO POP, her first-ever performance art show, in Seoul, South Korea. What was meant to be a milestone moment in her career allegedly became overshadowed by West’s involvement behind the scenes.
Sources say West inserted himself into key decision-making roles throughout the planning and execution of the show. This reportedly contradicted promises he had made to Censori that she would retain full creative authority. Instead, insiders claim he overruled her repeatedly.
“Bianca had no choice but to let West take over, even though he swore up and down she would be the boss in all of this,” a source told Globe magazine.
The report further claims that Censori originally wanted BIO POP to debut in Los Angeles, a location she felt was more aligned with her artistic vision and professional network. However, West allegedly pushed for the event to take place in South Korea instead, a decision that ultimately backfired.
During the Seoul premiere, a livestream of the event reportedly malfunctioned in a major way. According to the report, it “accidentally revealed the entire Premiere Pro project before coming to an abrupt end around 11 minutes in.” The technical slip is said to have spoiled key elements of the presentation and derailed what was meant to be a carefully curated reveal.
The aftermath reportedly took a heavy emotional toll on Censori. “Bianca is burning mad because it ruined what was supposed to be the biggest night of her life,” the insider said. “She was in tears over it, but had no choice but to put on a happy face because there were tons of people everywhere.”
Another source added that those close to her are well aware of her anger and disappointment. Bianca’s “friends all know how furious she is,” the insider noted, adding that “this show is only one of a series that is supposed to last for seven more years.”
The situation has renewed speculation about the power dynamics within the couple’s marriage. Censori and West tied the knot in 2022, and while they often present a united front publicly, reports like this suggest tensions simmering behind the scenes, particularly when it comes to creative control and personal autonomy.
