Andrew faces renewed controversy after another leaked email

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is confronting another setback after a newly leaked email linked him to a woman described as a “consensual” partner. The message, reported by The Mirror, has intensified scrutiny surrounding the former Duke as investigations and political pressure continue to build in both the United Kingdom and the United States.

The leaked email contains a pointed statement aimed at urging transparency. It reads, “Until you are able to come forward and address that, the story lives on. I mean, in the end, he had consensual sex with [redacted]. And [redacted] worked for you. The rest is atmospherics. You have moved on! People don’t know that and can’t accept that unless you say as much.” While the names remain redacted, the message underscores a call for Prince Andrew to publicly explain his involvement.

This comes on the heels of renewed political attention in the United States. Just last week, President Donald Trump urged the Justice Department and the FBI to “investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton,” while also calling for the release of the Epstein files. The issue has resurfaced during a heated political moment and sparked competing statements from those involved.

A spokesperson for the Clinton Foundation told ABC News, “These emails prove Bill Clinton did nothing and knew nothing. The rest is noise meant to distract from election losses, backfiring shutdowns, and who knows what else.” The response aimed to dismiss the latest claims as politically motivated distractions.

Meanwhile, the leaked message has renewed questions about Prince Andrew’s past associations and his refusal so far to testify in U.S. investigations connected to Epstein. Democratic Representative Ro Khanna said the leak raises concerns that should be addressed openly. “I do think that Prince Andrew does need to come and testify at our oversight committee, and that can be bipartisan. But I share [Massie’s] view that the urgency that the British people have shown in getting justice needs to inspire an urgency here in America.”

The U.S. Congress has already made clear that it expects Andrew to participate in its inquiries. Lawmakers have called for him to provide testimony related to his connections to Epstein. Their request includes a firm deadline.

A letter from Representative Robert Garcia of the House Oversight Committee requests a “transcribed interview” from Andrew. The letter states, “Due to the urgency and gravity of this matter, we ask that you provide a response to the Committee’s interest by November 20, 2025. The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is the principal oversight committee of the House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate ‘any matter’ at ‘any time’ under House Rule X.”

As the deadline arrives, pressure continues to mount on Andrew, whose public role has already diminished significantly. The latest leak adds another layer to a controversy that shows no sign of fading.
