Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly joined Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday celebration with more than fun on their minds, according to a new claim from royal commentator Rob Shuter. Writing in his Substack ShuterScoop, Shuter said the couple attended the party with a clear “strategy” behind their appearance.
Shuter reported that Meghan and Harry have “turned to Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian for advice on reviving their A-list status after years of public backlash and canceled projects.” An insider told him the couple “know Kris runs Hollywood,” adding, “If you want to control your narrative, she’s the queen.”
The birthday event, hosted by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez, reportedly provided the perfect setting for the pair to make strategic connections. According to Shuter’s source, Meghan was seen in deep conversation with both Kris and Kim throughout the night. “It wasn’t just a social call,” the insider said. “It was a strategy.”

A Hollywood executive quoted by Shuter said, “The Kardashians are experts at reinvention. And Meghan’s hoping to learn from the masters.” He described the moment as “the monarchy meets reality TV — and the comeback begins.”
The report suggests Meghan and Harry are keen to give their “crown polished, Hollywood-style,” following a string of mixed media ventures, including their Netflix projects and Harry’s memoir. Shuter noted that the couple sees the Kardashian-Jenner playbook as a model for managing public perception and reshaping their brand.
In a follow-up post, Shuter added another twist. Despite their high-profile presence, he claimed the Sussexes “weren’t on the official guest list.” According to him, the unexpected appearance raised eyebrows at the party. “People were whispering, ‘Who brought the Sussexes?’ It was giving mystery-plus-security-breach,” he wrote.

The couple has not commented on the report, and none of the parties involved have publicly addressed the claims. Still, the speculation around their attendance has fueled ongoing discussion about their evolving approach to fame and influence.
For now, their Hollywood strategy remains unconfirmed, but the idea of the Sussexes joining forces with the first family of reality television has sparked curiosity — and raised questions about what their next move might be.
