Kim Kardashian is expressing her frustration after failing the bar exam, this time directing her anger toward the family’s favorite psychics. The 45-year-old reality star and entrepreneur vented in a TikTok video shared from Kris Jenner’s glamorous 70th birthday celebration.
While getting her makeup done, Kardashian took aim at several psychics who had confidently told her she would pass the exam. “All of the f****** psychics that we have met with, and that we’re obsessed with, are all f****** full of s***,” Kardashian said in the clip. “They all collectively, maybe four of them, have told me I was gonna pass the bar. So they’re all full pathological liars. Don’t believe anything they say.”
Kardashian confirmed the disappointing results in an Instagram post on November 8. “Well… I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV. Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up—just more studying and even more determination,” she wrote.
Her journey toward becoming a lawyer began in 2019, when she joined a San Francisco law firm as part of California’s Law Office Study Program, an alternative route that allows aspiring lawyers to apprentice under licensed attorneys instead of attending traditional law school.
She passed the “baby bar,” officially known as the First-Year Law Student’s Examination, in 2021 after four attempts. Earlier this year, she completed her six-year apprenticeship and took the full bar exam in July. Kardashian has said her progress was slowed by the pandemic and her busy career managing multiple businesses and filming commitments.
The Skims founder has long shown an interest in spirituality and psychic readings. In a February episode of The Kardashians, she revealed that she often feels connected to her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian Sr., through messages shared by mediums.
In 2019, Kardashian and her sister Khloé welcomed Long Island Medium star Theresa Caputo to their Calabasas home for a private reading, continuing the family’s fascination with spiritual advisors.
Despite her disappointment, Kardashian’s determination to become a lawyer remains intact. Her ongoing pursuit of a legal career has earned praise for shedding light on criminal justice reform and inspiring others to take unconventional paths toward higher goals.
While the psychics may have lost her trust, Kardashian made it clear that her focus now is on studying harder—and proving that persistence, not prediction, will define her next chapter.
