Diddy Spends Halloween Behind Bars Eating Prison Food Instead of Partying

Sean “Diddy” Combs, once known for hosting extravagant Hollywood parties, spent this Halloween in a starkly different setting — behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

The 55-year-old music mogul, who built an empire on luxury and excess, now faces a daily routine defined by structure and simplicity. On October 31, instead of donning an elaborate costume or attending celebrity-filled events, Diddy’s day was marked by basic meals and strict schedules.

According to reports, his morning began with a modest breakfast of fruit, cereal, a pastry, and skim milk. Lunch offered a choice between baked fish or black beans with rice pilaf. Dinner, served after the 4 p.m. headcount, consisted of turkey roast with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and whole wheat bread. Inmates who declined meat were provided peanut butter and jelly sandwiches instead.

The contrast from his past life could not be starker. Just a year ago, Diddy made headlines for his Halloween transformation into Batman, striding through Los Angeles in a full suit of armor. The year before, his spot-on portrayal of the Joker went viral across social media.

Now, those elaborate costumes and star-studded parties are a world away. Diddy has been in custody since his arrest at a Manhattan hotel on September 16, 2024.

In June, he was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The court, however, cleared him of more severe charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, which had drawn national attention and fueled months of speculation about the once-celebrated producer’s legal troubles.

Life inside the Metropolitan Detention Center is a far cry from the lavish homes, private jets, and luxury cars that once defined Diddy’s lifestyle. The federal facility is known for its strict routines and limited privileges. Inmates spend most of their time in shared cells, with heavily monitored recreational and meal times.

Despite his incarceration, sources say Diddy has maintained a low profile inside, adjusting to prison life with minimal complaints. Officials have not reported any disciplinary issues since his arrival.

According to sentencing records, Diddy is expected to be released on May 8, 2028, though that date could change based on his behavior and participation in rehabilitation programs.

For a man once synonymous with opulence and fame, Halloween 2025 was a sobering reminder of how much life has changed — from mansion parties to prison meals, and from flashing lights to concrete walls.
