Prince William is reportedly “determined to block” any attempt by his wife, Kate Middleton, to meet with Meghan Markle, despite the Duchess of Sussex’s ongoing efforts to reconcile with the royal family. According to Radar Online, citing royal insiders, Meghan and Prince Harry are quietly pursuing what’s being called “Project Thaw,” a plan aimed at repairing their fractured relationship with the monarchy.
“As for Meghan, although America is home, she’s keen to re-establish links with the royal family,” one insider claimed. “They are carrying out a secret plan called ‘Project Thaw,’ and Meghan still believes they can all fully reconcile.”
As part of the initiative, Meghan has reportedly instructed her team to arrange a private meeting with the Princess of Wales. The Duchess, who shares two children—Archie and Lilibet—with Prince Harry, believes that rebuilding her relationship with Kate could be the first step toward improving public perception of her and her husband.
“Meghan hopes the reunion with Kate would soften public opinion of her and husband Prince Harry and help pave the way for their return to England,” one royal source explained.
