Trump’s Epstein Scandal Backlash Grows as MAGA Supporters and Loyalists Turn Against Him, Former Insider Claims

Donald Trump is reportedly losing not only influential MAGA figures but also the “core” of his loyal base due to his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, according to a former insider. Lev Parnas, once a “trusted operative” of Trump, shared explosive details on Sunday about the former president’s internal reaction to the growing backlash over the Epstein controversy.

Parnas revealed that Trump has been “furiously pacing” in the White House and reportedly insulting his own MAGA base amid the fallout. Parnas said that MAGA influencers and supporters have been targeting Trump’s attorney general, Pam Bondi, for allegedly mishandling the release of files related to Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted pedophile.

“Yesterday, the volcano erupted,” Parnas said, describing the escalating situation. According to Parnas, Trump’s failure to address the Epstein files and his perceived cover-up have led to a significant shift in his support base. “Trump made what may be the biggest mistake of his political life—his cover-up of the Epstein files,” Parnas stated. “His own MAGA base isn’t just fracturing—it’s overflowing, erupting with anger and betrayal.”

Parnas added that he had spoken to former loyal supporters who are now enraged by Trump’s silence on the issue. “Furious about his silence. Furious about what they see as his protection of pedophiles. Furious that he broke the one promise he embedded into their identity for the past six years: exposing the Epstein list,” Parnas explained.

“In their words, this was never just about politics—it was about rooting out the evil of the so-called ‘deep state.’ And now, to them, Trump has become part of it.” Parnas went further, stating that it’s not just influential figures within the MAGA movement who are turning against Trump, but also the grassroots supporters who formed the foundation of his political rise. “And it’s not just the big influencers turning on him—it’s the cult itself. The core.

The everyday MAGA supporters who carried the flag, wore the hat, and bought into the lie. Many are saying they won’t forgive him.” Despite this growing dissent, Parnas claimed that Trump remains defiant, privately calling his critics “stupid,” “foolish,” and “ungrateful.” “He still believes they’ll come crawling back.

That they’ll forget everything by the time it’s time to vote,” Parnas said, quoting Trump’s private remarks. Parnas further speculated on Trump’s strategy moving forward, suggesting that the former president plans to ride out the backlash by focusing on election reform, tariffs, and foreign policy issues in an attempt to secure a Nobel Peace Prize.

However, he warned that the widening fracture within the MAGA base could weaken Trump’s political power. “The more this narrative breaks, the more this cult fractures, the weaker he becomes,” Parnas concluded. “And that’s why we can’t stop pushing.”
