Princess Charlotte to Attend Kate’s Alma Mater, Will Be Educated Separately from Prince George

It appears that Princess Charlotte, the only daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, may be poised to follow in her mother’s footsteps quite literally when it comes to her future education. According to a well-placed royal insider who spoke to GB News, plans are already taking shape for Charlotte’s college years.

Unlike her older brother, Prince George, who is reportedly set to attend the prestigious Eton College, Charlotte is expected to be educated elsewhere. “Princess Charlotte will be educated at a different school from Prince George,” the source confirmed, adding that Charlotte is “set to follow in Kate’s footsteps” by attending Marlborough College, the same boarding school the Princess of Wales once attended.

Marlborough College, located in Wiltshire, is one of the UK’s leading independent schools and is known for its academic excellence and royal connections. Kate Middleton attended the college in the 1990s before going on to study at the University of St Andrews, where she famously met Prince William.

The educational split between George and Charlotte has sparked fresh discussion within royal circles, particularly after recent reports suggested that “all roads lead to Eton” for Prince George, the eldest of the Wales children and second in line to the throne.

Eton, located just across the River Thames from Windsor Castle, has long been the educational choice for royal males, including Prince William and Prince Harry. George’s anticipated enrollment has not been officially confirmed, but the couple’s recent visit to the school fueled speculation.

According to another insider cited in a follow-up report, William and Kate’s school visits have been accompanied by a sense of secrecy. “It was like, ‘I know something and the people at Eton know something, but I’m not going to tell you,’” the source claimed, describing the mood following the couple’s visit to Eton.

While the final decisions for Charlotte’s education may not yet be officially announced, the choice of Marlborough College would reflect a clear effort by William and Kate to balance tradition with a more modern, individualized approach for their children. Choosing separate paths for George and Charlotte could also be part of a broader plan to allow each of their children to establish their own identities within the royal family.

For now, the future Queen in waiting seems to be quietly preparing her daughter to follow the same path she once walked — one that shaped her long before the palace walls became home.
