Cleveland, Ohio — A former Coast Guard member turned OnlyFans model pleaded guilty Tuesday to murdering the man she claims sexually assaulted her for years, in a case that took another shocking turn when the victim’s parents attempted to kill her in retaliation.
Chelsea Perkins, 35, admitted to luring Matthew Dunmire, 31, to a remote trail in Ohio’s Cuyahoga Valley National Park on March 6, 2021, before shooting him in the back of the head. Prosecutors said Perkins traveled over 300 miles from Virginia to meet Dunmire, whom she accused of raping her repeatedly when they were high school classmates.

A 2017 police report partially supported Perkins’ allegations, but no charges were filed due to insufficient evidence. After leaving the Coast Guard, Perkins worked as an OnlyFans model under the name Sabrina Savage, often posing with firearms in photos posted online.
Perkins pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and firearm charges just before trial, avoiding a potential life sentence. She now faces 20 to 25 years in prison, with sentencing set for September 2025, as per reports, The Mirror.
The case took a bizarre twist eight months after Dunmire’s death when his parents, Tommie Lynn Dunmire and John Nelson McQuillen, drove to Perkins’ Washington, D.C., home in November 2021. Disguised in a UPS uniform, Tommie Lynn shot a woman she mistook for Perkins twice in the abdomen before fleeing. The victim survived.
After a police chase, Tommie Lynn died by suicide during a traffic stop in Florida. McQuillen later pleaded guilty to being an accessory and was sentenced to three years in prison.
Authorities spent months building the case against Perkins using cellphone data, witness statements, and forensic evidence before arresting her. While she claims self-defense against years of abuse, prosecutors argued the killing was premeditated.
The case has drawn national attention for its layers of violence, alleged trauma, and vigilante retaliation. Perkins’ sentencing will determine whether the court views her actions as justice or cold-blooded murder.
