19-Year-Old Pennsylvania Teenager Allegedly Told Neighbor He Wanted to ‘Dismember Her and Eat Her Brain’

A 19-year-old Pennsylvania teenager, Dylan Bish, has been arrested after allegedly sending his neighbor a series of horrifying notes detailing his desire to “dismember” her body, “eat her brain,” and engage in acts of cannibalism. Koppel Borough Police described the arrest as halting the “spawning of a potential serial killer.”

The disturbing case began in November 2024 when the victim, a female neighbor, found a handwritten note on her apartment door. Police attempted to contact the sender using a phone number included in the note but were initially unable to identify the culprit. In February, the woman received a second note, which escalated the threats.

“This time the note contained concerning desires, some even stating that he wanted to ‘dismember’ her body with a chainsaw, and also stated sexual desires with her corpse,” the Koppel Borough Police Department said in a statement. The note also included the writer’s desire to “eat her brain,” according to court documents obtained by WPXI.

The investigation intensified when police received a text message on March 10 from the same number linked to the notes. The sender believed to be communicating with the victim, claimed to have “killed 20 women” and declared she was “his next victim.” The text included graphic details about “how he wished to smash her skull” and other homicidal intentions, police said. A disturbing video of someone being skinned and tied up was also sent to officers.

Using the phone number, email, and IP addresses, authorities identified Bish as the suspect. During questioning, Bish confessed to sending the notes and text messages, detailing his “obsession” with the victim. He told police he would “not stop his obsession until she is dead” and described plans to “dismember her this summer in the woods,” expressing a “desire for cannibalism.”

Bish also revealed he is studying criminal justice and forensic science at Salem University in West Virginia to “know how the Police and FBI operate so that he will never get caught.” Despite his claims of having killed 20 women, Bish insisted he would never hurt anyone, stating he was “lonely and hoping for a relationship of friendship.”

Bish was arrested on charges of terroristic threats, stalking, harassment, and harassment while communicating anonymously. He is being held on a $1 million bond and must undergo an “extensive mental health evaluation” if released. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 28.

“The County Detectives, District Magistrate, as well as the Koppel PD believe that a Homicide as well as the spawning of a potential Serial Killer may have been prevented in this arrest,” police concluded.
