Millie Bobby Brown has revealed what she considers her best acting performance—and it’s not her breakout role in Stranger Things. The 21-year-old actress appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she shared a clever trick she pulled on a nosy photographer before her wedding to Jake Bongiovi.
“I went into the wedding dress fitting and I put my wedding dress on. There was a big glass window, and I thought that she could see through it,” Brown told Fallon. “So I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, she knows what my wedding dress looks like and then Jake’s gonna see it.’ I was so terrified.”

To throw the photographer off, Brown decided to stage a fake emotional reaction in a completely different dress from her actual wedding gown.
“I was like, ‘I’m gonna walk out and I’m gonna start fake crying, pretending that I found the gown,'” she explained. “She got the whole thing and it sold. She thought she had some quality. Well, let me just tell you right now, it definitely wasn’t. I tricked you.”
Fallon then played a video of Brown in a mermaid-style dress, dramatically exclaiming, “This is my dress!” while walking in front of a full-length mirror. Reflecting on the prank, Brown admitted, “It was the best [acting] of my career.”
