Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield Reunite at Oscars 2025 and Paparazzi Have a Field Day

Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield gave fans a nostalgic moment at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and the paparazzi couldn’t help but have some fun with it.

The Social Network co-stars ran into each other at the star-studded event in Beverly Hills after the Academy Awards wrapped up. In a video shared by Vanity Fair, Eisenberg was spotted lighting up as he saw Garfield walking onto the carpet from the other end. Without missing a beat, the two shared a warm embrace before posing for photos together.

But things got even better when photographers on the red carpet decided to turn their reunion into a full-blown Social Network throwback.

“Eduardo and Mark, look down here,” one photographer called out, referencing their iconic roles in the 2010 hit. Another chimed in, “Mr. Saverin, Zuckerberg, over here!”

The moment wasn’t lost on Garfield, who cracked up at the unexpected callback.

Adding to the fun, Vanity Fair captioned the video with a playful nod to one of the film’s famous lines: “They’re wired in. Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield have a ‘Social Network’ reunion at the #VFOscarParty.”

For fans of the David Fincher-directed classic, it was a nostalgic surprise. The movie, which chronicled the rise of Facebook, starred Eisenberg as tech mogul Mark Zuckerberg and Garfield as co-founder Eduardo Saverin. The film also featured Justin Timberlake, Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson, and Brenda Song.

While the two actors have worked on separate projects since, their on-screen chemistry and the drama of their fictionalized friendship in The Social Network left a lasting impression on audiences. Their Oscars reunion—complete with inside jokes from the paparazzi—was a fun reminder of just how iconic their performances were.
