Meghan Markle is reportedly feeling frustrated with Kate Middleton for not stepping in to help resolve the ongoing feud between Prince Harry, Prince William, and the rest of the Royal Family.
The Duchess of Sussex has been “critical” of Kate’s title as the Royal Family’s “peacemaker,” a source revealed, suggesting that Meghan believes Kate should play a more significant role in encouraging reconciliation.
According to Heat Magazine, Meghan feels that only Kate has the ability to help mend the rift between the feuding brothers and soften William’s hardened stance against Harry.
The insider explained, “Meghan is well aware that William has major reservations about making peace with Harry, let alone inviting him back into the fold. But she believes he would be a lot more inclined if he had more encouragement from others, especially Kate, who – in her mind – aren’t doing enough to soften William’s stance.”
While Meghan is cautious not to appear critical of Kate, particularly considering her challenging year with her ongoing cancer treatment, she is reportedly disappointed that Kate has not done more to facilitate a reunion.
The source shared, “Meghan is very anxious not to appear critical of Kate, especially after what she’s been through this year. But at the same time, she does privately find it frustrating that she isn’t stepping up more to help Harry – especially as she’s touted as the peacemaker.”
The Sussexes have long been at odds with the Royal Family following Harry and Meghan’s public exit from their royal duties, controversial interviews, and the release of Harry’s memoir Spare. The strained relationship between Harry and William, in particular, remains a focal point of the rift, with William reportedly unwilling to forgive past grievances.
