Prince William Calls This Year ‘Brutal’ as Royals Unite to Support King Charles and Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton is set to join the Royal family this Christmas after facing a challenging year, which included her battle with cancer. Royal experts predict a supportive and unified holiday for the Princess of Wales, as she will be surrounded by family members during this festive season.

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Kate will spend Christmas with around 45 members of the Royal family, including King Charles and Queen Camilla. The family is expected to attend church together in the morning, continuing their traditional holiday practices, with some time for relaxation afterward at nearby Anmer Hall, the Wales family’s home.

“I think it will be special for the Waleses as William has called this year ‘brutal’ and the hardest of his life,” Fitzwilliams told The Express. “He has talked of 45 being at Christmas lunch at Sandringham so the idea is obviously that those involved will be together to be supportive of King Charles, of Queen Camilla who has had pneumonia, and of William and Kate and her struggle.”

Fitzwilliams continued, “They and their children are the future of the monarchy and this will be an occasion to remember. They have nearby Anmer Hall for relaxation and will undoubtedly make the most of the downtime the Christmas break allows.”

The expert highlighted the significance of the holiday gathering, describing it as a “memorable show of solidarity.” He noted that despite the difficulties the family has faced this year, especially Kate’s health struggles, the Christmas holiday will be an important moment for the Wales family to come together.

“Catherine has endeavored to do with her illness, reaching out to fellow sufferers,” Fitzwilliams added. “It is a reason for her being shortlisted for Person of the Year by Time Magazine.”

This Christmas, as Kate and her family spend time with the Royal family, it will not only be a chance for relaxation but also an opportunity for support and unity amidst the trials they’ve faced throughout the year.
