Prince William takes a cautious approach to Kate Middleton’s upcoming birthday, Says Expert

As Kate Middleton approaches her 43rd birthday in January, her husband, Prince William, is reportedly going to great lengths to ensure the occasion is marked with the utmost care, according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams.

Fitzwilliams explained that the Prince and Princess of Wales are being especially cautious about how they will celebrate Kate’s special day after what has been a “difficult year.” Speaking with GB News, the expert revealed that no official announcements have been made regarding the birthday plans, and the couple is taking a “step-by-step” approach to navigate the New Year, particularly as Kate continues her recovery from preventative chemotherapy treatment.

“If you look at Kensington Palace and the way they handled this. They’ve been very careful,” Fitzwilliams said. “We have absolutely no idea the way she will celebrate her birthday.”

Fitzwilliams noted that Kate has been participating in meetings and engagements, but the family has been mindful of keeping details low-key. “There have been meetings we know she’s participated in, but they’ve been very, very careful firstly not to give too much notice of this, and secondly not to commit themselves to anything,” he added.

One potential plan for the couple was a trip to Italy, but the expert highlighted that such plans would need to be made well in advance, making it uncertain given Kate’s ongoing recovery. “We know that the Waleses were due to go to Italy, anything like that must be planned months in advance and you can’t when she still has a long way to go,” Fitzwilliams remarked.

As the couple navigates Kate’s health recovery and her birthday celebrations, it’s clear that they are prioritizing a thoughtful, private approach to the occasion, mindful of the challenges they have faced this year.
