Prince William is making reconciliation nearly impossible for his younger brother, according to a source who spoke with Heat World. The insider described a situation that has grown more strained over the past several months, despite repeated efforts from Prince Harry to ease tensions.
The source said, “Harry has been chipping away at his brother for months, sending olive branches galore and hoping he’ll come to the negotiating table to at least iron out a compromise that would see some type of truce.” But according to the insider, those attempts have gone nowhere. William continues to turn him down flat.”
The resistance, they said, is firm. “He’s got no interest in breaking bread with Harry, let alone forgiving him, and that’s even with Kate in his ear as well as his father.” The idea of reconnecting, at least for now, isn’t something William is willing to consider.

The insider also compared William’s stance on Harry to his feelings toward Prince Andrew, noting that his position there is equally unyielding. “Prince William can’t stand his uncle Andrew [either] and would love to see him booted from the royal household for good,” they claimed. The tension reportedly intensified after Andrew learned of his role in pushing King Charles to take a firmer line within the family.
For Harry and Meghan, the insider suggested the future could hold even more uncertainty. “It’s common knowledge that Harry and Meghan will probably lose their titles once William becomes King, so the only thing they can do is pray for a miracle. They’re very frightened and saying it’s like this Sword of Damocles that’s constantly hanging over their heads.”

With King Charles balancing his cancer treatment and a full schedule of engagements, the insider said the palace is shifting more responsibility onto William. That shift, they added, comes with its own challenges. “Most people within the palace will tell you that William is now pretty well running the show and he’s doing it with a very heavy hand.”
The brothers remain locked in a stalemate, with one continuing to reach out and the other refusing to engage. Whether that changes anytime soon remains uncertain.
