Tensions between Prince William and Prince Harry remain high, with the once-close brothers reportedly not speaking and the Prince of Wales said to have “lost all his patience” when it comes to dealing with Harry and Meghan Markle.
According to a royal insider speaking to OK! Magazine, the rift between the brothers shows no signs of healing. “Prince William and Harry don’t talk right now,” the source claimed. “William has moved on, and the matter of their royal titles should have been properly addressed when they initially left.”

The insider went on to say that Prince William harbours regret over how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s departure from royal duties was handled. “He regrets that it didn’t happen [then],” said the source, referring to formally cutting Harry and Meghan off from the institution of the monarchy.
“William has lost all his patience when it comes to Harry and Meghan. He refuses to get into a public back-and-forth with his brother about any of this,” the source added, suggesting that William wants to avoid further media drama and keep his focus on his royal responsibilities.
The royal insider also noted that Prince William believes Harry should accept the consequences of stepping back from royal life. “It’s getting old at this point. He feels that Harry made his decision to walk away, and he should abide by the consequences that come with that,” the source stated.
This reported frustration comes after Meghan Markle recently reignited debate over royal titles by signing a gift basket with her former “HRH” designation. Though Harry and Meghan were stripped of their “His/Her Royal Highness” styles when they stepped down as senior royals in 2020, the duchess’s use of the title has been viewed by some within royal circles as inappropriate.

The decision to relinquish their official roles was part of the couple’s “Megxit” arrangement with Buckingham Palace. Although they retained the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex, their use of HRH was specifically prohibited, given their status as non-working royals.
While King Charles is reportedly still open to reconciliation with his younger son, this latest development further underscores the deepening divide between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family, particularly Prince William, who is said to be growing increasingly frustrated with the ongoing drama.
