Meghan Markle is reportedly growing frustrated with her post-royal career trajectory and is placing much of the blame on her husband, Prince Harry, according to insiders speaking with Radar Online.
The Duchess of Sussex, who stepped back from royal duties alongside Harry in 2020, had high hopes for success in the American entertainment industry. However, sources claim that her expectations have not been met, and she’s now questioning whether Harry is doing enough to support her ambitions.

“Nothing is going the way she wanted or expected,” a royal insider told Radar Online. “Clearly, the luster of Harry’s title has worn off with the public and players in Hollywood. The doors are closing all around her, and Harry isn’t doing enough to help her.”
Meghan’s disappointment reportedly stems from a string of underwhelming projects. Her podcast Archetypes, launched through a multimillion-dollar deal with Spotify, failed to impress critics or maintain a steady audience. Her latest Netflix endeavor, With Love, Meghan, also received poor reviews and failed to generate significant buzz.
Meanwhile, Harry’s recent projects—including his docuseries and a polo-centered program—have also struggled to gain traction. Though the couple’s earlier releases, such as the explosive Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary and their high-profile Oprah Winfrey interview, drew global attention, they seem to have lost momentum in the industry.
Sources suggest Meghan is now feeling the pressure to carry their brand forward, and she’s reportedly growing impatient with Harry’s limited involvement in her business efforts. “Meghan is disappointed with the Duke of Sussex’s lack of input and support toward her projects,” the source claimed.

“Harry’s busy with his charities, and there isn’t a lot he can do anyway because he isn’t business-minded,” the insider added. “Obviously, he was raised in a different world, where everything was handed to him on a silver platter. There were people to make his appointments, shine his shoes, and pay the bills.”
“It must make Markle throw her hands up seeing how helpless and ineffectual Harry is. Everything seems to rest on her shoulders,” the source said. Since relocating to California, the Sussexes have tried to carve out a new identity separate from the British Royal Family.
However, the challenges of establishing a lasting brand in the competitive world of Hollywood appear to be taking a toll, both professionally and personally. As they continue to pursue new ventures, insiders suggest the couple’s internal dynamics may face increased strain if their string of underwhelming releases continues.
