Meghan Markle Reportedly Struggling Under Pressure of Her Own Expectations

Meghan Markle is reportedly facing growing frustration over the lack of star power supporting her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, as efforts to secure A-list guests appear to be falling flat.

According to an insider who spoke with RadarOnline, the Duchess of Sussex has been actively reaching out to major Hollywood names, but with little success. “She’s dialed all the big names, but no one’s picked up,” the source claimed. “The absence of high-profile guests in the lineup is raising eyebrows. Especially hers.”

Meghan’s podcast, which focuses on female empowerment and entrepreneurial journeys, has yet to feature any widely recognized celebrity guests. The source didn’t hold back in expressing disappointment, adding, “I mean, she lives in California and the best she can do is a woman who runs a dating app. Jeez.”

They continued, “There’s no Taylor Swift. No Beyoncé. Not even a Hailey Bieber. And when you’re pitching female empowerment, that’s a problem!” The insider also remarked that the situation “speaks volumes for her pulling power,” and that Meghan is “not happy about her lack of appeal.”

The sentiment was echoed by a Hollywood public relations expert who also spoke to the outlet. The expert explained that the podcast’s underwhelming guest list doesn’t reflect the level of influence Meghan was likely hoping to project after relocating back to the U.S. and stepping into the entertainment industry more independently.

“There isn’t exactly the red-carpet royalty Meghan was banking on,” the PR professional said. “Securing buzzworthy guests typically requires strong industry connections, but with Meghan’s current outreach yielding few callbacks, her ambitious vision may be suffering due to more prominent figures in the entertainment world.”

They added that in Hollywood, name recognition is everything, especially in the competitive podcast market, where celebrities are increasingly launching their own shows. Without high-profile interviews, Confessions of a Female Founder risks being overlooked.

The expert concluded with a warning and some advice: “She needs to be able to turn this tide and attract the star power needed to elevate her podcast into a must-listen experience.”

Despite the slow start, Meghan may still find her footing as the series continues. But in a landscape dominated by A-listers and buzzy soundbites, it appears the Duchess has work to do to bring the big names—and big audiences—on board.
