Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie’s safety concerns have reportedly led Prince Harry to reconsider his family’s future in the United States — and may have even prompted him to temporarily leave the country, according to new claims reported by Radar Online.
The publication alleges that Prince Harry has “left America due to fear over his children’s safety,” citing growing unrest and increasing anxiety over the well-being of his family in their California home. The claims follow a similar report by New Idea, which stated that the Duke of Sussex is beginning to feel they may have made a “huge mistake” relocating to the U.S.
According to unnamed royal insiders quoted by the outlet, Harry is increasingly alarmed by the environment surrounding their Los Angeles-area residence. “LA’s curfews and clashes seem far more serious, and this time he not only has a wife but two kids to keep safe,” one insider claimed.
The source added, “Harry’s starting to think they’ve made a huge mistake moving to California.” Reportedly, Harry’s concerns have been heightened by contrasting images of the British royal family looking content and secure back in the UK, compared to his own experience of helicopter noise and tension in his California neighborhood.
“Seeing the rest of the royals looking so happy, juxtaposed to what was going on a short drive away from his home, with the incessant whoop of choppers flying over him, it’s easy to see why he’s having regrets,” the insider explained.
The insider also pointed to Harry’s military background as a key factor in his heightened concern over security threats. “Even more so, because of his military background, he’s a lot more paranoid about their security than Meghan,” the source noted.
While Meghan Markle reportedly remains focused on her professional commitments and motherhood, Harry is said to be growing increasingly frustrated with her more relaxed approach to safety.
“Harry wants her to be able to get on with her work and being a mum without worrying about her safety, but it’s a different world now, and it’s rumoured he’s starting to get frustrated with her approach,” the source added.
