Donald Trump’s Grandson to Dress as $100 Bill for Halloween Celebration

President Donald Trump’s grandson, Luke Trump, has chosen a Halloween costume that seems to reflect the family’s famous relationship with wealth — he’s dressing up as money. Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump and the president’s daughter-in-law, revealed her family’s costume plans in a video shared online on Wednesday.

She explained that while she and her daughter, Carolina, will both dress as Rumi from Netflix’s hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters, 8-year-old Luke had his heart set on something a little flashier. “Now, my son was very interesting,” Lara said in the video. “He decided like a month ago. He’s like, ‘I know what I want to be for Halloween.’ I was like, ‘Great. Give me the order so I can get this done.’

He was like, ‘I’m going to be money.’” Laughing, she added, “That’s right. Yeah. I mean, you think this is Donald Trump’s grandson? My son, Luke, is going to make money. So, I got him… it looks like a giant $100 bill.” While Lara and the children have their costumes ready, she noted that Eric Trump still hasn’t decided what he’ll wear for the Halloween festivities.

The lighthearted moment comes amid renewed scrutiny over the Trump family’s finances. A recent Reuters report revealed that Donald Trump’s sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr., have helped grow the Trump Organization’s earnings by $864 million so far this year through a series of major investment deals.

This marks a sharp rise from the company’s 2024 income, which was reported at $51 million. The report also noted a significant increase in cryptocurrency-related income, climbing from $579,000 in the first half of 2024 to $802 million in the first half of 2025.

However, not all the investments have been without controversy. One investor, Chinese businessman Guren “Bobby” Zhou, who was involved in some of the Trump-linked deals, is currently under investigation in the United Kingdom for alleged money laundering.

Despite the ongoing financial scrutiny surrounding the family, Lara’s Halloween post has drawn a mix of amusement and irony online, with many pointing out the symbolism of the young Trump dressing up as cash.

Still, the mood in the Trump household appears festive. As Lara put it in her video, her son’s costume choice seemed perfectly fitting for the grandson of a billionaire businessman and former president — a reminder that, at least for Halloween, money really does talk.
