Megyn Kelly Warns Lindsey Graham Should Be Kept Away From Trump Over Iran War Rhetoric

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly has voiced serious concerns about the influence of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham on President Donald Trump’s foreign policy decisions, particularly regarding the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

Kelly’s criticism came after Graham appeared on Fox News with host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, where he expressed strong support for military action. During the interview, Graham spoke enthusiastically about the Trump administration’s strikes on Iran and suggested further escalation could be coming.

“We’re going to blow the hell out of these people,” Graham said during the appearance.

He continued by suggesting that more developments could occur soon. “You just wait to see what comes in the next two weeks,” Graham told Bartiromo. “This regime is on death row now. It is going to be on its knees. It’s going to fall, and when it falls, we’re going to have peace like no other time… you can’t do it by talking.”

Graham also appeared on the broadcast holding hats that read “Make Iran Great Again” and “Free Cuba.” While discussing broader U.S. foreign policy goals, he also voiced support for tougher actions toward Cuba.

“If we get in a fight, I want to win it, I want to win it quick,” Graham said. “I’m in Miami. You see this hat? ‘Free Cuba.’ Stay tuned. The liberation of Cuba is upon us. We’re marching through the world. We’re clearing out the bad guys. Cuba is next.”

He added further remarks emphasizing a more aggressive global stance. “We’re marching through the world. We’re cleaning out the bad guys. We’re going to have relationships with new people that will make us prosperous and safe.”

After a clip of the interview circulated online, Kelly responded on X with a sharp message criticizing the senator’s role around the president.

“For the love of God this man should never be in Trump’s orbit again,” she wrote.

This is not the first time Kelly has publicly criticized Graham’s hawkish stance on foreign policy. Earlier in the week, she reposted a video of the senator urging Trump to join Israel in launching strikes on Lebanon in addition to Iran, reacting simply with “omg.”

Kelly has also been openly skeptical about the broader conflict itself. Speaking about Trump’s decision to enter a war with Iran, she previously said, “I honestly can’t believe we’re doing this again.”

Her comments have placed her in the middle of a growing debate among conservative commentators over Trump’s approach to the conflict. Kelly also criticized Fox News host Sean Hannity after his interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Look, I’m just going to be honest. Hannity is a supplicant to Donald Trump. He would never say anything other than to puff Donald Trump up,” Kelly said.

She continued by suggesting Netanyahu may have persuaded Trump to support military action. “We all love Trump, but let’s be real. Like, he can be flattered into thinking—‘yes, this is your idea, and it’s a great one, and you’re the leader of the free world, and we need you, Mr. President.’”

Kelly’s stance has drawn criticism from some conservative figures. Commentators such as Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro have pushed back against her remarks, with Shapiro saying, “She is such a coward. She is such an unbelievable coward. You don’t like President Trump? You don’t like what he’s saying? Just say his name, you coward. You unbelievable coward.”

Trump supporter Laura Loomer also joined the criticism, writing that Kelly should “shut up you stupid b—h” and claiming she is “not MAGA.”

Despite the backlash, Kelly has continued to speak openly about her concerns regarding U.S. involvement overseas. On her show last week, she discussed divisions within Trump’s political base over the conflict.

“My own feeling is that no one should have to die for a foreign country,” Kelly told her audience.

Referring to American service members killed in Kuwait, she added, “I don’t think those four service members died for the United States. I think they died for Iran, or for Israel.”

“Our government’s job is not to look out for Iran, or for Israel. It’s to look out for us. And this feels, very much, to me, like it is clearly Israel’s war.”
