Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has reignited tensions within the MAGA movement, taking aim at Fox News and conservative host Mark Levin, accusing both of spreading fear for ratings and abandoning core Trump-era promises.
Speaking on The Matt Gaetz Show on One America News (OAN), Greene unleashed a blistering critique of Levin, who she claims has strayed from the America First principles that once united supporters of Donald Trump.
“I can’t believe that Fox News allows one of their hosts to go around and call me names on his social media. That is so unprofessional and it really speaks to what kind of media company Fox News is,” Greene told Gaetz on Monday.
The controversy stems from a bitter dispute between the two right-wing figures over U.S. foreign policy. While Levin backed Trump’s recent decision to bomb Iranian nuclear sites, Greene condemned the action. “I got elected on the exact same campaign promises that President Trump got elected on. We promised: no more foreign wars, no more regime change,” she said in a separate interview with CNN.
Levin has taken repeated jabs at Greene on his X account, calling her a “shameless nitwit” and “incredibly dumb.” In one pointed post, he asked, “Who died and named Marjorie Taylor Greene the queen of MAGA?… You’re a little known politician from Georgia. Hate to break the news to you. We’re Team Trump. Go Trump!”
Greene didn’t hold back. “Mark Levin, obviously, he was a NeverTrumper from the beginning. He hated Donald Trump… but yet now somehow Mark Levin is the voice of MAGA?” she asked. “I don’t think so, Matt. You and I, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon—we’re the voice of MAGA. The people totally agree with us.”
She went on to slam Levin’s program, saying, “People don’t watch his show. I don’t know anyone that watches his show, and his screeching is absolutely unbearable.”
Greene also criticized Fox News for its foreign policy coverage, accusing the network of fearmongering. “Nothing like scaring the American people with another foreign war to get people to watch the news 24 hours a day,” she said. “They love to share propaganda on their network.”
Levin, known for not backing down from a fight, responded during his radio show: “Marjorie Taylor Greene has to be one of the dumbest people that ever served in the House of Representatives.”
He followed up online, writing, “MTG, God are you stupid… Thankfully, POTUS ignored you and hit the Iranian nuclear sites… You’re on my radar.” As the war of words escalates, the MAGA movement’s internal fractures are growing more public, with Greene and Levin now firmly entrenched on opposite ends of the ideological divide.
