Bill O’Reilly Teases ‘Very Good News’ from Trump but Leaves Everyone Guessing

Bill O’Reilly reckons America’s got something to look forward to—if you’re fine with no details, no timeline, and no clue what it is. On his “No Spin News” show, which streams on his website, O’Reilly revealed he had a quick chat with Donald Trump over the weekend. “I talked with President Trump briefly,” he said, “and he says there is going to be some very good news for the country coming up shortly.”

No word on what the “very good news” might be. Economic relief? Foreign policy breakthrough? Free cheeseburgers? Who knows. O’Reilly did say they were talking about economics and international affairs at the time—but that’s about as far as he went, reported the Wrap.

You’d think someone like O’Reilly, who’s been in the journalism game for decades and certainly knows how to press for answers, might have pushed a bit harder. But not this time. “I didn’t push him on it — it was a casual conversation,” he said, brushing it off like they were chatting over coffee instead of teasing the nation.

Still, he vouched for Trump’s honesty, at least in their long-standing relationship. “I’ve known the man 35 years,” O’Reilly said. “He’s never misled me one time. He’s been mad at me, but even then, he would just ignore me or send me a text telling me how terrible I am — you know, that kind of thing. But he hasn’t misled me.”

So, if Trump says something good is coming, O’Reilly’s inclined to believe it—even if he can’t say what, when, or how.

“I can’t get more specific than that at this point,” he admitted. “When I can, I will.”

It’s the kind of vague teaser that leaves viewers either curious or skeptical, especially in a time when people are hungry for clarity. Whether it’s a major announcement, a policy shift, or just political showmanship remains to be seen. Until then, O’Reilly’s promise of “good news” is more of a question mark than a headline—but one that’s got people talking all the same.
