GOP Rep Has Seen Enough, Says ‘It’s Time to Impeach’ Biden and Expunge Trump Impeachments

The chorus of Republican voices calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden has grown, with at least one more House Republican joining the movement in light of a recently released FBI document.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia initiated the impeachment campaign against Biden in May, followed by Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, who sponsored an impeachment resolution currently under review by the House Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees, as reported by The Washington Post.

Since then, Rep. Matt Rosendale of Montana has expressed his support for Biden’s impeachment. Last week, Reps. Greg Steube of Florida and Ralph Norman of South Carolina also endorsed impeachment, focusing on alleged irregularities in the Biden family’s finances, a topic under scrutiny by the House Oversight Committee, according to Just the News.

On Saturday, Indiana’s Republican Rep. Jim Banks, who intends to run for Senate in 2024, added his voice to the impeachment call, according to Breitbart. Banks stated that the grounds for impeachment align with high crimes and misdemeanors, and he voiced support for the House GOP effort to erase former President Donald Trump’s two impeachments from the record.

An FBI document, released last week by Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, containing bribery allegations against Biden during his tenure as vice president, has been a catalyst in the push for impeachment.

Banks asserted that Biden is the most corrupt president in American history and made millions from the alleged corruption of his son, Hunter Biden. He expressed his desire for the House Judiciary Committee to initiate impeachment hearings, despite acknowledging his lack of influence in leadership.

While the impeachment process requires charges to be leveled against Biden and approved by the House, which currently has a Democratic majority, it appears highly unlikely that a conviction could occur. Regardless, Banks expressed his determination to expose the Democrats’ hypocrisy and hold the Biden administration accountable for alleged corruption.
