In a surprising twist, Chuck and Shazam! star Zachary Levi threw his support behind Donald Trump at a rally in Michigan over the weekend. The event, held on Saturday, saw Levi sharing the stage with prominent figures like former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and ex-Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, where he made it clear that his choice for the next presidential election was Donald Trump.
“We’re here to make sure that we are going to take back this country. We are going to make it great again. We are going to make it healthy again,” Levi declared passionately to the crowd, echoing Trump’s well-known slogans. Standing beside Kennedy and Gabbard, Levi reinforced his commitment to the cause: “I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump.”
For Levi, the choice is clear. He emphasized that, out of the options available, he sees Trump as the best candidate to lead the nation forward. “I do believe, of the two choices that we have, and we only have two, Donald Trump, President Trump is the man that can get us there,” Levi stated, standing firm in his endorsement. He also shared his belief that Trump would benefit from the support of leaders like Kennedy and Gabbard, saying Trump would “have the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight that exists in Robert Kennedy Jr. and former representative Tulsi Gabbard.”
Levi opened up about his political views, linking them back to his upbringing. “I grew up in a family that was Christian conservative, that was pretty much the lane that we were in,” he explained. His parents’ journey from Kennedy Democrats to Reagan Republicans shaped his perspective, teaching him a “healthy level of distrust for the government and a healthy level of distrust for industry that runs amok.”
While Levi’s first choice was Kennedy—who stepped back from the presidential race in August—he’s now fully aligned with Trump for the upcoming election, believing that Trump is the leader who can bring about the changes he seeks for the country.
