Johnny Wactor’s ex Tessa Farrell mourns ‘General Hospital’ star’s death

Tessa Farrell, ex-fiancée of the late General Hospital actor Johnny Wactor, has shared a heartfelt reaction to the star’s untimely death. Farrell, an actress herself, posted an emotional video on TikTok, describing Wactor as “a bright soul” who “lit up the room.” Her sorrowful tribute reflects the profound impact Wactor had on those around him.

Wactor, best known for his role as Brando Corbin on General Hospital, was tragically shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles over the weekend at the age of 37. His sudden death has left fans and loved ones in shock and mourning.

In her video, Farrell also touched upon a significant aspect of their past, revealing that she had played a role in helping Wactor achieve sobriety. She shared that they first met in 2013 but had not seen each other for several years.

“I’m so happy that he found sobriety after that relationship,” Farrell said. “I was able to guide him to AA and he was there for the rest of his life and sober and proud.” She also called out Wactor’s killer, who still remains at large.

“The person who did this, if you’re watching, I’m sorry but you shot the wrong guy,” she said. “You can get a real job. I know the job market’s hard, but we’re all in it together. You don’t have to steal, especially take a life over it.”

She ended her video tribute by calling Wactor a “rising star” and calling out the anonymous female co-worker who was supposedly with Wactor at the time of his death, seeking to have a word with her.

Farrell’s tribute has resonated with many, as she poignantly remembered the actor’s vibrant personality and the positive changes he made in his life. Her words underscore the loss felt by those who knew him personally and professionally.

Wactor’s death has not only affected those closest to him but has also left a void in the entertainment industry, where he was admired for his talent and dedication. His portrayal of Brando Corbin on General Hospital had garnered a significant fan following, and his absence will undoubtedly be felt by many. As the investigation into the circumstances of his death continues, Farrell’s tribute serves as a reminder of the light Wactor brought into the lives of those he touched.
