Kyle Richards ‘Didn’t Love’ Mauricio Umansky replacing the photo with DWTS’ Emma Slater: ‘Didn’t Love That’

Kyle Richards has opened up about her feelings regarding a controversial decision by her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, involving a photo swap that caught fans’ attention. During the Nov. 26 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Kyle addressed Mauricio’s choice to replace a picture of her with one featuring his Dancing with the Stars partner, Emma Slater.

The revelation came from Kyle’s costar Sutton Stracke, who brought up the surprising photo swap. Kyle, 55, didn’t hold back her thoughts, admitting, “Didn’t love that.” While she tried to empathize with her 54-year-old estranged husband’s decision, Kyle expressed mixed emotions.

“I understand to a certain degree because—no, I only understand part of this, hold on—because that’s his desk, and right in front of his face is an 8×10 of him kissing my cheek, staring at him all day,” she explained. “So I can understand him not wanting to stare at that if it hurt him or, you know, was difficult for him and putting that away.”

However, Kyle took issue with what replaced the photo. “But did you need to put up the photo on the shelf? … It was a really dumb thing to do, honestly,” she added. When asked if she had confronted Mauricio about the incident, Kyle admitted, “I still haven’t,” but mentioned that the photo of Emma Slater had since been removed.

The candid discussion highlights the ongoing complexities in Kyle and Mauricio’s estranged relationship, as the pair navigates their separation while maintaining public lives. Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have closely followed their dynamic, with moments like this adding fuel to speculation about the state of their relationship.

As the situation evolves, viewers are left wondering whether Kyle and Mauricio will address their unresolved feelings and move toward closure—or continue to grapple with awkward and emotional moments in the spotlight.
