The 19th National Television Awards take place at London’s O2 Arena this evening (January 22), with Dermot O’Leary hosting. Digital Spy will be live-blogging as Doctor Who battles against Broad chuch for best TV drama, Benedict Cumber batch takes on Idris Elba to be named TV’s best detective, and Ant & Dec wait to see if they can make it 13 in a row in the entertainment presenter category. The ceremony – opened by X Factor winner Sam Bailey alongside her musical hero Michael Bolton.
