Martha Stewart may be the reigning queen of home-cooked sophistication, but her latest revelation left audiences and co-stars stunned: she has never ordered takeout—not once. The lifestyle icon and Uber Eats spokesperson made the surprising confession during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, alongside her Yes Chef co-star, renowned chef José Andrés.
While discussing their late-night meals in Toronto after long days of filming their new culinary competition series, where 12 chefs face off while navigating personal challenges, Stewart, 83, leaned in to Kelly Clarkson with a secret she could no longer keep.

“Do you want to know a secret?” Stewart teased with a mischievous smile. “I’ve never ordered in.” Clarkson, 43, was floored, her jaw practically hitting the floor. “Are you kidding me? You’ve never been like, ‘It’s a Taco Bell night. We’re just doing it?’” she asked in disbelief.
José Andrés, 55, was equally shocked, gasping, “Martha! Oh my God.” Stewart, remaining unfazed, stood firm in her confession. “My daughter will vouch for me,” she said confidently. She elaborated further, explaining, “So I will go out, or I will not eat.”
The revelation sent the room into a fit of amazement. Andrés dramatically responded, challenging viewers: “Prove it! People of America, if you have a photo of Martha Stewart ordering in, we want to see it! We demand an investigation!”

Clarkson, ever the supportive host, added with a laugh, “Not a doggy bag. We want to see it.” The Stronger singer shook her head in amazement, summarizing the moment simply: “That’s insane.”

Unable to contain his admiration, Andrés dropped to one knee in mock reverence, declaring dramatically, “We don’t deserve you, Martha.” Stewart, playing along with the theatrics, clasped his hands together and looked skyward in a mock prayer pose, sending the audience into fits of laughter.
Clarkson, wiping tears from her eyes from laughing so hard, closed out the segment with a wink and a reassuring joke: “Don’t you worry. I’ve ordered enough for both of us.”
Martha Stewart’s commitment to her dining principles only further solidified her legendary status — and proved once again that even in the age of convenience, some traditions remain delightfully unshaken.
