Nearly a decade after one of the most infamous celebrity robberies in modern history, Kim Kardashian returned to a Paris courtroom on Tuesday, May 13, to confront the men accused of holding her at gunpoint and stealing millions in jewelry.
According to The Sun, the 43-year-old reality television star appeared solemn and composed as she entered the courtroom wearing a black skirt suit, dark sunglasses, and accompanied by her mother, Kris Jenner, and a heavy security presence.

Kardashian greeted the presiding judge with a soft “Hello” and expressed gratitude to the authorities: “Thank you for allowing me to tell my truth.” The emotional testimony centered on the harrowing events of October 3, 2016, when masked robbers, posing as police officers, broke into her private residence during Paris Fashion Week.
“I had fallen asleep naked with a robe on,” Kardashian recounted, visibly shaken. She described waking up to see the hotel concierge bound and forced into her room by the intruders.
The assailants allegedly stole approximately $9 million worth of jewelry, including her $4 million engagement ring from then-husband Kanye West. The attack, which occurred while she was alone in her luxury apartment, sparked global media coverage and raised questions about celebrity security and social media exposure.

Kardashian is now facing the 10 defendants in court, marking a pivotal moment in the ongoing trial. Earlier that day, Kardashian’s longtime friend and stylist, Simone Harouche, testified that she feared the worst after hearing screams from Kim’s room.
“I have babies and I need to live,” Harouche recalled Kardashian crying out during the ordeal. She later found her friend “beside herself,” with her robe disheveled and her feet taped together.

When questioned about the implications of displaying expensive jewelry publicly, Harouche pushed back against victim-blaming. “Just because a woman wears jewellery doesn’t make her a target,” she said. “That’s like saying because a woman wears a short skirt she deserves to be raped.”
In a video statement played in court, one of the defendants, Yunice Abbas, offered an apology and asked for forgiveness. Harouche responded bluntly: “No.”
The high-stakes trial is expected to conclude by the end of the week. French authorities have described the robbery as one of the most high-profile celebrity crimes in recent history. Kardashian’s testimony is seen as crucial to achieving justice in a case that deeply impacted her life and public persona.
