Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s Mansion Dispute Drags On as UK Move Looms

As Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom remain entangled in a protracted legal dispute over their $15 million mansion in Montecito, California, the pop superstar is reportedly considering a major lifestyle shift — potentially relocating part-time to the United Kingdom.

The couple’s drawn-out legal battle stems from the purchase of their California estate, previously owned by Carl Westcott. Westcott has claimed that he was not of sound mind when he agreed to the sale, arguing that the transaction should be voided. With the case still unresolved, sources suggest it may be one factor pushing Perry and Bloom to look abroad for a fresh start.

In a 2024 interview with British television hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, Perry hinted at the possibility of splitting time between the U.S. and the U.K. alongside her fiancé and their daughter, Daisy Dove, told Hello!

“I love London… beyond Santa Barbara, my hometown, Orlando, and I spend so much time in London, and lately we’ve been thinking about maybe splitting our time,” she said, smiling. She went on to express her admiration for British culture and lifestyle, adding with a playful tone: “We love it so much, we feel like you guys are really refined.”

The Firework singer also shared personal anecdotes about their experiences in the city, particularly how much their daughter enjoys it.

“We spent all day in Hyde Park yesterday. We went to the Princess Diana playground. It’s great for kids,” Perry explained. “She [her daughter] literally went to a dinosaur-themed high tea today, I mean, where else can you do that?”

The couple’s current residence in Montecito, nestled among A-list neighbors including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, boasts sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and luxurious privacy. However, the ongoing legal drama may be motivating the pair to consider other options for family life.

While Perry hasn’t confirmed any permanent move, her comments point to a growing affinity for London and a willingness to consider significant change. Fans and observers alike are watching closely, wondering whether this legal case could be the final push that leads the international power couple to settle, at least part of the year, across the pond.

For now, the lawsuit over their California estate continues to make headlines, while Perry and Bloom appear increasingly open to the idea of a transatlantic lifestyle.
