Bruce Willis’ name reportedly surfaced during Cassie Ventura’s testimony in Sean P. Diddy Combs’ sex trafficking trial as old messages between the ex-couple were read to the jury.
An unexpected name surfaced during the high-profile trial involving disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Over the past three days, his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, has stood up in court as she shared alleged details of their past, including graphic accounts of their so-called “freak offs.” These sessions, according to Ventura, were allegedly coerced and involved escorts, often recorded without her consent.

The jury was shown old text messages between the two, including one where Cassie told Diddy she wanted to be more involved in his life, not just with him, but with his kids from previous relationships, too. During a tense moment in the latest cross-examination, she reflected on her more than decade-long relationship with him, which spanned from 2007 to 2018.
The singer revealed she mostly felt like she was just there for the “freak offs” instead of being a part of his life. Talking about the experience in court, she admitted, “It could be a little heartbreaking.”
Her frustration with being left out of Diddy’s world was clear in a text she sent in 2013. In the message, she wrote, “As much as you think you’re Bruce Willis, you aren’t. He’s married, and before he was married, the family as a whole went on trips together or just him and his woman.”

During the ongoing trial, the heavily pregnant star, 38, touched on the close bond between Demi Moore and her ex-husband, Bruce Willis, despite their 2000 divorce. The two have remained close, maintaining a positive co-parenting relationship.
She also referenced Eddie Murphy’s relationship with his wife, Paige Butcher, whom he married in 2024 after 12 years of dating. It read, “Eddie Murphy and Paige took his kids away on their own. I don’t think that you sympathize with my feelings. I understand you feeling like you need to protect your children, but after a while…it’s like for what?” Neither Willis nor Murphy has been accused of any wrongdoing.

Combs, 55, denies all the allegations and has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Prosecutors say he exploited his status as a powerful music executive to violently force Cassie and other women to take part in encounters with sex workers and used his network of employees to facilitate illegal activities, which is a key part of the racketeering charge.
Combs’ legal team has firmly stated that all the sexual encounters during the so-called “freak-offs” were consensual. However, the contents of the texts told a more complicated story. Defense lawyer Anna Estevao read aloud messages from Diddy while Cassie recounted her replies, some of which were graphic and intimate. At one point, Cassie requested a brief pause from the readings, which Judge Arun Subramanian approved.
One notable exchange from August 2009 revealed the rapper asking when she was ready for their next “episode.” Cassie responded, “I’m always ready to freak off.”
