Angelina Jolie’s hit film “Salt” which generated $300 million revenue worldwide in 2010, has been considered for sequel.

Sony Pictures has asked for a new sequel of “Salt” in which Angelina Jolie played the role as a government official spy Evelyn Salt, forced to defend her life and name after being exposed as a Russian spy. To write the new sequel of “Salt”, screenwriter of the first ‘Salt’ film, Kurt Himmel has been hired.

Actress Angelina Jolie is also told to be interested in replotting the story and will be provided the script and other essential information.
