Charleston County 13-Year-Old Boy Reported Missing; Authorities Are Seeking Public’s Assistance In Locating Him, Report

Charleston County is located in the state of South Carolina. Deputies from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old boy who has gone missing.

The teenager, whose true name is Angel Canup, is known as Echo, according to them. There is no evidence of wrongdoing.

On Thursday afternoon, at 6 p.m., the case was reported. Teenagers’ parents believe that the teenager left the area after getting off a school bus earlier in the afternoon.

As per Thecharlestonpress, residents in Summerville verified that since the youngster went missing, there has been an increase in police enforcement presence in the neighborhood. Initially, deputies were looking into the area along East Colpat Street in Lincolnville.

The search effort included K-9 units and the CCSO’s helicopter, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Angel could be with another juvenile,” the sheriff’s office said. “Anyone with information can call dispatch at 843-743-7200.”
