Fox News contributor Kennedy has stirred discussion after sharing gossip about Barron Trump’s college life in an opinion piece for the Daily Mail. The 19-year-old son of former President Donald Trump is currently a sophomore at New York University.
“My college-aged daughters have plenty of friends who’ve gone to school with Barron, and they’ve given me the lowdown on his reputation,” Kennedy wrote. “Some of these tattlers said he’s ‘weird,’ others claim he ‘doesn’t talk.’”
According to Kennedy, Trump is also “being slandered” on the dating app Tea, which lets women exchange information about men they’ve dated or are considering dating. “Poor Barron is on i,t and I’ve seen his profile,” she claimed. “Take this comment: ‘messy, played in my face, definitely dl, ran through, chopped.’”

Kennedy included a translation of that slang from what she called a “Gen Z translator”: “‘Barron is a dramatic person who pretended to play dumb while being disrespectful. He wanted to keep our union a secret because we had intercourse, and I didn’t hear from him again. He was unattractive.’”
Kennedy noted that the post was anonymous and said she doubted its author had ever met Barron. “But this is proof of what he has to deal with every friggin’ day,” she wrote.
She suggested that the constant attention and rumors might explain why Barron reportedly takes NYU classes remotely from Washington, D.C., while living at the White House. “No wonder,” she added.
Melania Trump acknowledged last year that her son’s college experience would not be typical. “I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college it’s very different from that of any other kid,” she told Fox & Friends in December.

Recent reports have also described Barron’s limited public appearances. One story from The New York Post said he closed off an entire floor of Trump Tower during a date, a move that was strictly for security reasons.
Despite keeping a low profile, Barron has reportedly offered media strategy advice to his father’s campaign, suggesting a focus on podcasts rather than traditional interviews. According to Kennedy’s piece, he was also approached about joining the board of TikTok by one of Donald Trump’s former social media producers, though he has not responded publicly.
The young Trump’s attempts to balance privacy and public scrutiny continue to attract attention, as stories about him circulate both in the media and online.
